The Set 3D View command sets a precise 3D view at a specified viewing angle, height, and perspective. Normally, the command is executed from 2D Top/Plan view; however, the command can also set a 3D view from any of the 3D views.

To set a 3D view:

Select the command.

Click and draw a line to indicate the view direction; the line starting point indicates the viewer position and the line end point indicates the point the viewer is looking towards (look toward point).

The Set 3D View dialog box opens.

Click to show/hide the parameters.Click to show/hide the parameters.

Description

Viewer Height

Specifies the height of the viewer at the start point of the drawn line

Look Toward Height

Specifies the height of the view destination at the end point of the drawn line

Perspective

Select the desired perspective, or use the current setting to keep the perspective unchanged
